In 2009 Delaine was commissioned by Aspex's director Joanne Bushnell to make a new work.
Joanne had seen Delaine's work at The First Roma Pavilion, Paradise Lost, Venice Biennale in 2007.
Looking into the historical Witch Hunts but also their present context, Delaine created a multi-media installation and made performance work with Mike Rogers performing an opening ritual on Saturday 5th September.
The images are from a Limited Edition Invite handmade by Delaine. There were two versions: one with card and one with paper. The text was written by Delaine and her son Damian James Le Bas. Delaine can be seen creating the installation in a film made by Aspex which can be viewed below.
Witch Hunt continues to tour and is currently travelling to various locations across Europe as part of Akathe Te Beshen, curated by Moritz Pankok, Director of Galerie Kai Dikhas, Berlin.
